MONACO, 3 AUG – 3 SEP 2024
From August 3rd to September 3rd in Monaco, visitors had the unique opportunity to explore the rich wonders of AlUla through AlUla: Tapestry of Creativity, a photography exhibition curated by ArtsAlUla. This exhibit offered an immersive journey into AlUla’s breathtaking landscapes, profound history, and creative spirit.
Set against the scenic Promenade du Larvotto, the exhibition showcased the captivating works of Moath Alofi, Huda Beydoun, Catherine Gfeller, M’hammed Kilito, Prince Michel De Yugoslavie, Lance Gerber, Matthieu Paley, and Robert Polidori. Through their lenses, viewers could experience the soul of AlUla—from its vast deserts and ancient rock formations to its lush oases and magnificent architecture.
We were honoured to contribute to this photography exhibition curated by ArtsAlUla. As a non-profit organization, the Sigg Art Foundation was entrusted with curating a memorable opening reception for the exhibition, dedicated to fostering cross-cultural connections, artistic exchange, and dialogue. For the closing of “AlUla: Tapestry of Creativity”, we were deeply honored by the visit of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco. His presence underscored the meaningful cultural exchange fostered between Monaco and Saudi Arabia through this exhibition. Our gratitude goes to H.R.H. Prince Bader Al Saud, Governor of AlUla, for making this cross-cultural collaboration possible. The Sigg Art Foundation is immensely proud to have played a role in bringing this inspiring journey to Monaco.
