Cyril Zammit is a Paris-born, Dubai-based expert in cultural strategy and design, with over three decades of experience shaping global arts and design initiatives. He began his career at the Institut Français in Prague and the French Embassy in London, later overseeing sponsorships for the Montreux Jazz Festival and UBS Verbier Festival Youth Orchestra.
His leadership roles include managing sponsorships for Art Basel, Design Miami/, and Abu Dhabi Art, as well as advising Dubai’s Culture & Arts Authority. He founded Design Days Dubai in 2012 and played a key role in launching Dubai Design Week in 2015.
Now an independent consultant, Cyril advises designers, galleries, and institutions across the UAE, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. His recent roles include Strategic Advisor to the Uzbekistan Art & Culture Development Foundation, consultant for L’ÉCOLE Middle East, and Design Consultant for the Royal Commission for AlUla. A recognized leader in cultural diplomacy, he continues to shape the global creative landscape.
