Pierre and Maurine Sigg hosted an intimate evening at the Kunstmuseum Basel, a moment suspended in time reflecting the Sigg Art Foundation’s engagement to share our vision for digital art and celebrate artists we present during ArtMeta. This memorable gathering brought together collectors, and cultural leaders around the values we stand for: innovation, dialogue, and global artistic resonance.
We are deeply grateful to the exceptional partners whose shared vision made this evening possible. Their presence reflects a commitment not only to artistic excellence, but to the dialogues that shape culture today.
The Sigg Art Foundation presented a selection of artworks during a private dinner held in the privatised spaces of the Kunstmuseum on 18 June. These works were shown independently from the Kunstmuseum’s exhibitions and collection.
Presented artists: Lulwah Al Homoud, Pablo Atchugarry, Sougwen Chung, Ben Elliot and Sasha Stiles.
PABLO ATCHUGARRY
Starlight, 2025
BEN ELLIOT, Sculpt, 2025
LULWAH ALHOMOUD, The Language of Existence: IQRAA 1, 2025
SASHA STILES
REPETAE: TIME RESETS BUT I REMEMBER, 2025
Poet and artist Sasha Stiles offered an evocative live performance in collaboration with her AI-powered alter ego, Technelegy. As dynamic projections revealed the generative process unfolding in real time, Stiles gave voice to emergent verses—merging human presence with algorithmic poetry. This intimate interplay between flesh and code invited reflection on the shifting boundaries of authorship, language, and creative expression in the age of artificial intelligence.
“One of the most lavish dinners held this week took place in the sumptuous setting of the Kunstmuseum Basel courtyard. Guests dined al fresco on tender veal and chocolate mousse courtesy of Pierre Sigg, the Swiss entrepreneur behind the Sigg Art Foundation which is showing works on the Digital Art Mile in Basel.”
