Description

Vlad Pocol (b. 1992, Switzerland) is a Swiss multidisciplinary contemporary artist of Romanian political exile descent and Levantine heritage, currently based between Riyadh and Paris. His practice explores transformation as both a material and emotional process, tracing how movement, displacement, and shifting states of being shape identity, memory, and belonging. Working across painting, installation, and sculptural forms, he constructs layered visual terrains driven by repetition, density, and material flow, where accumulation, erosion, and reconfiguration become legible through gesture and matter.

In 2024, Vlad Pocol presented the solo exhibition From Roots to Vision. A Migration. in Riyadh. His recent presentations include a solo exhibition in Dubai (2025) and group exhibitions in Los Angeles (2024, 2025). He received the Certificate of Artistic Achievement from the Luxembourg Art Prize in two consecutive years (2024, 2025). His works are held in significant private and institutional collections, including international foundations and royal families in the Middle East.
